This is a great opportunity to say thank you to Latvian and Baltic motorsport media in drifting, who are an essential part of every event. Thank you for your hard work, your energy, your passion, and your dedication to supporting motorsport. Thank you for making it possible for organizers to promote events through your work, and of course — thank you for providing drivers with photos and videos!

For the TENTH year, the Media Master Motor will take place, where every photographer and videographer covering drifting motorsport events has the opportunity to participate.

BUT this time, everything starts already from the beginning of the season — on 01.05.2026 we launch this year’s nominations. Throughout the entire season, you will already know what kind of shots to look for, while at the same time the jury will be building their selection — and then, we will have our winners.

This means you won’t leave everything until October anymore — you can already work towards it after each round, while the jury does the same in parallel.

1. Reel of the Year (a reel that best represents the season or a specific round)
2. Trending Reel of the Year
3. Driver or Team Reel of the Year (a reel about a driver or team)
4. Most Impactful Reel of the Year (a reel that leaves no one indifferent)
5. Drift Photo of the Year (a photo that best represents the season or a specific round)
6. Best Emotion of the Year (a photo capturing emotions — track staff, driver, fan, media, or team member)
7. Kiss the Wall / Crash of the Year (car(s) touching the wall or tire barrier with the rear)
8. Paddock Photo of the Year (a photo from the service park showing behind-the-scenes action)
9. Fan Photo of the Year (a photo featuring fans/spectators)
10. Driver or Team Photo of the Year
11. Best Drift Car Photo of the Year (static or in action)
12. Drift Kids (a photo showing kids in drifting — paddock, stands, or during the event)

papildus žūrija var piešķirt apbalvojumu vēl kādās nominācijās medijiem par 2026. gada sezonu

Savus darbus mediji var iesniegt līdz 25.OKTOBRIM, no 26.oktobra darbu uzsāks žūrija. Nomināciju uzvarētāji tiks apbalvoti  Media Master Motor festivālā, kas notiks kopā ar Latvijas drifta sezonas oficiālo apbalvošanas pasākumu 20.11.2026

Latvia Drift komanda var papildus pievienot bildes pēc sava redzējuma nominācijām, kuras uzskata, ka ir pelnījušas būt šajā nominācijā, tās sezonas laikā atlasa un vēlak pievieno konkursam.

Ja kādā no nominācijām būs iesūtīti vai pievienoti mazāk kā 3 darbi, nominācija apbalvota netiks. Katrs fotogrāfs katrā kategorijā var iesniegt 1 darbu no viena posma, ja esi aktīvs, tad tās var būt daudzas, žurijai ir tiesības medijam nezinot pievienot kādu viņa darbu kategorijai, ja žūrijai šķiet, ka darbs atbilst kategorijai.

MAIN RULE: All submitted works must be exclusively from drifting competitions, events, or training sessions held in Latvia during the 2026 season.

Additionally, the jury may award special recognitions to media representatives for their work during the 2026 season.

Media representatives can submit their works until October 25. Starting October 26, the jury will begin evaluating the entries. The winners of each nomination will be awarded at the Media Master Motor Festival, which will take place together with the official Latvian Drift Season Awards Ceremony on November 20, 2026.

If fewer than three entries are received in any nomination category, that category will not be awarded. Each photographer or videographer may submit only one work per category AFTER EVENT — but in year that cna be more.

The Latvia Drift team may additionally include photos at their own discretion for nominations they believe deserve to be part of that category. These are selected during the season and later added to the contest.

A new feature this year: the jury has the right to include a media representative’s work in a category even if it wasn’t submitted for that category, if the jury believes it fits.
