LATVIA DRIFT – MEDIA TERMS & CONDITIONS (COMPETITIONS)

1. All freelance photographers and videographers must wear an approved media vest – either an official Latvia Drift media vest or a one-time vest provided at the event entrance.
2. Media applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of the event.
3. Valid life insurance is mandatory. A copy must be submitted to: [email protected]
4. The organizer reserves the right to request and use any media materials (photo/video) created during the event.
5. Media representatives must follow all instructions, warnings, and restrictions given by the organizer, track staff, and officials at all times.
6. Wearing a media vest is mandatory at all times while on track.
   Media without a vest will be asked to leave the track immediately.
   It is also mandatory to wear long trousers and closed shoes. Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the track.
7. By entering the track area, the media representative assumes full responsibility for their own safety and life, and acknowledges all associated risks.
8. Submission of the application form does not guarantee accreditation. Accreditation is confirmed only after receiving official approval from the organizer.
9. Press accreditation is granted only after receiving a confirmation email from the organizer.
10. Drone usage is allowed only with prior approval from the organizer.
    The number of drones permitted during the event is limited.

DECLARATION

By applying for media accreditation, the applicant confirms that:

• they have read, understood, and agree to comply with all Latvia Drift media regulations;
• they accept all risks related to their presence and activities during the event;
• they agree to follow all safety requirements and instructions at all times.

All current rules and supplements valid for the 2026 season

In addition to the general rules agreed to and accepted by the MEDIA when filling out the online registration form for DRIFT RACES in 2026 season, by filling out the questionnaire , the MEDIA confirms for the entire season that he agrees to all the rules, is familiar with them, and will comply with them:

• I have familiarized myself with the LAF Sports Code  and all annexes to the MEDIA rules for the 2026 season, this document and I agree to obey them.

• I certify that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in drift event and competent to do so.

• I acknowledge that I understand the nature and manner of training, as well as the potential risk associated with motor sports and accept such risk.

• I possess the basic skills and knowledge required for the relevant discipline to which this application relates

• I am aware that if my health condition can negatively affect me to be as MEDIA, I cannot go to  track, unless I have notified the organizer of this inability in writing, who, based on such information

• Any MEDIA application completed by a person under the age of 18 has been approved by the consent of that person's parent/legal guardian/guardian whose name and surname are listed as having completed this application;

• I understand that motorsports are dangerous and that accidents can and do cause death, disability and property damage. I understand that these risks may result in personal injury or other damages to me, and I acknowledge and accept these risks.

• By completing and accepting the application, I agree that neither one nor any combination of LAF, the promoter, track owners, or other managers, supporters and their respective officers, officials, representatives and employees (“Parties”) shall bear any responsibility for any loss or damages that may be caused or have occurred as a result of me taking part in event as MEDIA, including but not limited to property damages, economic, financial losses or consequential consequences, for any reason. Nothing in this paragraph is intended or shall be deemed to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury;

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to defend and hold harmless each party for any loss or damage in any way arising from my participation in the Event,

• I certify that I will observe the ethical principles of MEDIA, respect the work of the organizers, and observe generally accepted societal norms.

• I confirm that the Organizer has the right to use photo, video and audio materials created during the drift competition. For advertising purposes, this also includes the publication and reproduction of materials, as well as the transfer of materials to third parties for advertising purposes;

• I confirm that the Organizer collects, stores and destroys my personal data for the purposes of organizing the races. I also give my consent for my data to be transferred to third parties involved in the organization of drift training for the said purpose;

• By completing the drift training application form, participants and/or drivers waive any claims for any kind of compensation that may arise due to accidents. Waiver applies to LAF and the Organizer, officials and other participants and/or drivers.
